Classification Tabs
The tabs available in the Classifications module include:
-
Details: General information about the classification, including identification, model, photo, and default asset settings.
-
Failures: Failures which are commonly associated with this classification. These failures can be easily located when defining failure codes on a work order using the control available in the Failure module lookup to limit the results to failures defined for the classification.
-
Related Info: Information about specifications maintained on assets of this classification, parts commonly used during repair, and associated labor resources. Records created for this classification are automatically populated onto any new asset created of this type.
-
Procedures: Procedures and tasks that are commonly associated with this classification. The procedures and tasks are listed for reference and reporting purposes.
-
PMs: List of assets, schedules, and work orders associated with this classification through a preventive maintenance schedule. This tab can also be used to designate a PM Cycle Start Date for schedules associated with this classification. In addition, an option is available to list the PM Schedules that should be automatically assigned to any new assets created using this classification.
-
Attach: Documents attached to this classification. Documents attached to an asset classification record are automatically populated onto any new asset records created for this classification. The features to add, edit, remove, and view documents are similar in all modules of Maintenance Connection.
-
Reports: List of assets, work orders, and backlog associated with this classification. The Reports tab displays similar data in many supporting modules in Maintenance Connection.
